520			_aThis paper will cliscuss ten clay sealings, from a total of about 11.500 that have survived in the Paphos Archives in the Hellenistic period, that may be derivative of early Minoan seals. Nine of these portray the same elements and seem to have their origins in the same seal. The representation portrays a waisted man with wide shoulders holding a rod or perhaps a spear. A goat is represented on another of these sealings, on its left side. An attempt will be mad to place paralels in Aegean seals and to give an explanation or the presence of these ten sealing in the Hellenistic period.
