Περίληψη: This series of exercises is intended as a companion work to "Elementary Exercises upon Geological Maps" and to "Simple Geological Structures." The former is a graded series of maps and exercises in which the elementary principles of simple geological structures are illustrated. The present series also provides examples based upon simple structures but, in addition, includes maps and exercises which bring in more complicated structures. The exercises become progressively more difficult. All the maps have been set in examinations at different grades, and I desire to thank the Welsh Joint Education Committee for permission to include some of the maps set by me in recent School Certificate and Higher School Certificate Examinations, and similarly to thank the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, for permission to include some of the maps and problems, set by me in recent degree examinations at all grades.
