<br/><br/> All geological data available to date for the Panayia tis Agapis dam-site and reservoir areas were compiled for the production of the present comprehensive geological and engineering geological account. A preliminary geological investigation carried out in 1968 was followed by a subsurface one in 1971 under the supervision of F.A.O. and U.N.D.P. consultants. Subsurface investigations included boring of four exploratory boreholes, in situ testing and logging of the cuts of access roads.
