We find a wealth of converging evidence from texts oth biblical and inscriptional, from archaeology, and from political theory, that supports the notion of an Israelite cosmion in which members of the community participated in the transformation from tribal confederation to tribal kingdom in the 10th century B.C.E. With an accurate chronology established by Egyptian sources though Shishak's campaign in Palestine in 925 B.C.E., an adequate understranding of what statehood entails throgh historically generated typologies, rich symbols from biblical and incriptional sources, and a repe dield of archaeological remains from these symbols, we can declaire with some confidence that the United Monarchy of Isrlael already existed by the 10th century B.C.E. and flourished even after its division.
