Σε: Πρακτικά του Διεθνούς Αρχαιολογικού Συνεδρίου Η Κύπρος και το Αιγαίο στην ΑρχαιότηταΠερίληψη: Rescue excavations in the extensive necropoleis of ancient Rhodes during the last decades under the supervision of the Archaeological Service of the Dodecanese, have brought to light a significant number of glass perfume containers of the core-blown technique dating to the Late Hellenistic period. This particular method of manufacture was known in Rhodes from the Archaic period onwards and is associated with the local production of the Rhodian oinochoe; in the Late Hellenistic period, however, the shapes and decoration are so common that the identification of local or imported types is a difficult task. An attempt was made, however, to distinguish typological groups which seem to coincide with workshops generally known in the literature as ''Cypriot'' or ''Syrian-Cypriot''. Their relationship and their sphere of influence in the Aegean and the Mediterranean in general, are under study; a suggestion is tentatively proposed fro the origins of the workshop in Rhodes and its products which could be placed in Cyprus and Syria or the Aegean or even on Rhodes itself.
