The work described in this paper gives the results of geophysical test surveys carried out at the locality of Peristerka using the magnetic, gravity and electromagnetic (turam) methods. It illustrates the effectiveness and efficiency of geophysical surveys under the geological conditions prevailing in Cyprus and raises the question of survey grids and other practical factors which if properly taken into consideration will lead the geophysical surveys in the right direction.
